Forklift Operator
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklift safely for shifting and handling heavy fabrication materials.
- Load, unload and move steel plates, structural materials, fabricated components, pallets, bins and other heavy materials.
- Transport materials between production, stores, assembly, painting, blasting, dispatch and other designated areas.
- Position materials accurately at the required location.
- Ensure proper load balancing and safe lifting practices.
- Check forklift condition before starting each shift.
- Report any mechanical defects, abnormalities or unsafe conditions immediately.
- Strictly follow factory safety rules, PPE requirements and traffic management procedures.
- Wear required PPE such as safety shoes, helmet, reflective jacket and other applicable PPE.
- Follow designated forklift routes and speed limits inside the factory.
- Follow proper parking, key-control and shutdown procedures.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions, near misses, accidents and equipment failures.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
