Job Summary
Progressive Technology is seeking detail-oriented and responsible Chat Moderators to support our growing online platforms. As a Chat Moderator, you will monitor live chats and message boards, enforce community guidelines, and ensure a positive user experience across digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor live chat rooms, forums, and messaging platforms in real time
Enforce community guidelines, terms of service, and platform policies
Identify, review, and remove inappropriate, abusive, or spam content
Respond to user inquiries and provide basic support when required
Escalate serious issues, violations, or technical concerns to the appropriate teams
Maintain accurate moderation logs and reports
Collaborate with internal teams to improve moderation processes and user safety
Stay updated on platform rules, trends, and online safety best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong written communication skills in English
Excellent attention to detail and ability to make quick, fair judgments
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with online chat platforms
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong sense of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
Reliable internet connection and access to a personal computer or laptop
Experience
Prior experience in chat moderation, customer support, or online community management is preferred but not mandatory
Freshers and entry-level candidates with strong communication skills are welcome to apply
